With a built-in microphone, the Nintendo DS Lite gives you even more ways to interact with your favorite games and friends via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.

PictoChat

Use your stylus with PictoChat to create drawings and text messages to send to all your DS friends.

NOTE: Nintendo DS Lite wireless communication, including PictoChat, is not private and is not monitored by Nintendo. We recommend that you never reveal any personal information or arrange to meet a stranger.

PictoChat is local wireless only. You need to be within 30 feet of another system to communicate.

Backwards Compatibility

Nintendo DS Lite doesn’t just play DS games – it also features an additional port for Game Boy Advance Game Paks.

Wireless LAN

Create a local wireless network of up to 16 players between 30 to 100 feet away. Plus - for some titles, this feature requires just ONE Nintendo DS Game Card.

Headphone Jack

Use the stereo headphone jack for the ultimate DS sound experience. Suddenly the action isn’t just in your hand – it’s in your head!
